The Parish of Whitton (Aldbourne, Baydon, Chilton Foliat, Froxfield, Ramsbury with Axford) – Covid-19 protocols from 13 February 2022

To keep you safe we will
• Provide hand sanitiser as you enter church
• Maintain regular cleaning, including surfaces and handles
• Provide a one-way system or clear directions about safe movement inside our buildings, when numbers dictate this need
• Provide ventilation
• Give you the option of how you receive communion: either bread (wafer) only, or a wafer which the priest will intinct in wine before offering. In both cases please hold your palm(s) out flat to receive the bread. If you need a gluten free wafer, or need communion brought to you in your seat, please let us know before the service begins. We are not currently sharing a common cup at communion.

What we ask you: To keep each other safe we
• Invite you to wear a face covering in church, especially when moving around the building
• Invite you to politely check with those around you that you have given them enough space
• Invite you to follow one-way systems where they are in place
• Invite you to consume refreshments whilst seated

We are no longer asking you to sign in, but you might still like to make use of the QR codes provided in each of our churches for this purpose.

Thank you for your understanding and co-operation. By working together we can do our best to keep each other safe and give everybody the confidence to participate.

Since retiring he has served as Acting Archdeacon of Swindon and Acting Dean of Bristol Cathedral. Drinks and nibbles will be served after the service, allowing us an opportunity to meet our guests from across the Marlborough Deanery.
